The world’s going to hell – why not check out a flick? Here’s my annual round-up of the best DVD/Blu-ray/Streaming releases of the past year in order of their home release date. It’s only fourteen, more than a top ten list but down from my usual 20, meaning I’ve watched a lot of average to mediocre films this year. I don’t usually include mini-series but the O.J. documentary was really well done. There’s even less good foreign films this time.
All these films have those key great moments that make them stand out. Click on the links, check out the trailers and see for yourself. Happy New Year! Maybe 2017 will have better films coming our way- because we need them now more than ever!
